It’s a 3D printed enclosure for Axoloti and Add-Ons boards such Axoctrl. It’s designed to simplify the assembly and customisation of your Axoloti project and keep it safe from dust and shocks.AXOBOX is composed by two parts: a 3D printed PLA enclosure and a laser engraved acrylic faceplate. This specific design makes easy to switch between different hardware requirements in Axoloti projects without removing the core board.
AXOBOX comes with two faceplate types: Plain and AxoCtrl.

AXOBOX is designed to be easily customisable, starting from the style. There are up to 8 color combinations available at the moment, and more will come.

Since we released the AXOCTRL BOX (1st series) in 2018 we collected tons of feedbacks from our supporters that really helped us to define the new design and features.
The new AXOBOX is super resistant against shocks and heat deforming thanks to the reinforcing internal and external structures. It’s slant, 33° slant! to optimise the internal space and to make easier the desktop usage of the device. There are no right corners, all around is smooth and rounded. The new design also features extruded labels on the backside panel and some other secret functionalities. check below to learn more about the AXOBOX design.
